Mix together:
1 Tbsp yeast (I prefer instant yeast)
1 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp oil
Gradually add 2 1/2 cups flour (maybe slightly more) to make a soft dough. Knead for 2-3 minutes, or until smooth. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10-30 minutes. Divide into 2 balls and stretch into 2 pizza pans. (If you prefer a thick crust, make 1 1/2 times the recipe for 2 pizzas.)
Add pizza sauce and toppings. Bake at 400*F for 15-17 minutes.

I need this recipe for something I am making for SEF tonight. My pizza dough recipe makes 6 pizzas. I was looking at it trying to figure out how to reduce it to 1 pizza crust. Thanks for saving me the math calculating!
Interesting. This is the exact recipe I have used for years, except mine is 3/4 cup water and 2 cups flour. However, it makes about 1 1/2 pizzas. Which is perfect for the three of us, but when I need to make two full pizzas, it’s nice to know that I just add more water/flour and the other ratios are fine.
